Nougat Cheesecake



I am a fan of chocolate... actually I can feed exclusively on chocolate. That's why I try all chocolate variations of pastry recipes. The following is one of my favorites.


Ingredients

2 packets petit beurre biscuits (or digestive if you like)
200-230 gr butter
600 gr cream cheese
450 gr nougat

Directions:

We leave the butter in room temperature. We crumble the biscuits, turning them almost to dust and put them in a bowl. We add the butter, cut in small pieces and we blend with our hands until we have an even mixture. We put it in a medium round baking pan, creating a layer or base and put it in the fridge to tighten up. In the meanwhile we whip the cream cheese with the nougat. Don;t taste it, you will eat it all and me left with the biscuit base... I've done it. We put the chocolate mixture over the base. We leave it in the fridge for about an hour.
